Three days, plenty of ute setups, a whole lot of machinery and more than a few chats later, AgQuip 2026 is officially done and dusted. From 18–20 August, our team hit the road and set up in Gunnedah for three big days at one of Australia’s biggest agricultural field days.
It was a busy few days, with plenty of visitors through the site, new faces to meet, familiar ones to catch up with and plenty of conversations about ute setups, storage and getting the right gear for the job.
APBOXES at AgQuip
The best part about an event like AgQuip is getting the gear out in the open and letting people see it properly. We had a large selection of our range on display, including aluminium canopies, gullwing toolboxes, dog boxes, underbody storage and 4x4 accessories.
Visitors could get up close, open the doors, check out the construction and see how different products work together as part of a complete ute setup. For anyone considering a new canopy, toolbox or dog box, it was a chance to get a much better feel for the products than you can from a screen. And of course, there was plenty of talking shop along the way.
Plenty of Ute Talk
No two ute setups are the same. Over the three days, we had plenty of conversations about what people carry, how they use their vehicles and what they want to change or improve. From farm and contracting setups through to tradies and those who use their ute for a bit of everything, everyone has different priorities when it comes to storage and fit-out.
Some visitors came knowing exactly what they wanted. Others were still weighing up their options. Either way, it was good to have the conversations face to face and talk through what might actually work for each setup. That's a big part of why we enjoy getting out to field days.
A Look at the Range
There was plenty to see across the APBOXES display. Our aluminium canopies and toolboxes were front and centre, alongside dog boxes, underbody toolboxes, spare wheel carriers, jerry can holders and other 4x4 accessories.
Our LC79 range also gave LandCruiser owners the chance to check out products designed around their vehicle, while the UTV range showed what we have available for side-by-side setups.
Seeing everything together makes it easier to compare different options and start piecing together a setup that suits your vehicle.
More Than the Gear
While the products are the reason we’re there, the people are what make these events worthwhile. It was great to meet so many people over the three days, hear about their current setups and swap a few stories along the way.
There were plenty of familiar faces, plenty of new ones and plenty of good old-fashioned yarns. You get to put a face to the name, ask questions, have a look around and talk directly with the people behind the gear.
