HOLDING DEPOSITS
Holding Deposits are Strictly Non-Refundable once paid, however can be kept as store credit with no expiry date applicable.
ONLINE ORDER COLLECTION
Identification will be required upon collection of an online order. The identification presented must match the buyers details listed on the order. Failure to present ID will result in Australian Performance Industries Pty Ltd holding the order until sufficient identification is provided.
1. Outline
This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, conditions, and process for warranty claims on products supplied by Australian Performance Industries Pty Ltd (“APB”) trading as Australian Performance Boxes.
The policy ensures customers receive fair and consistent service while maintaining compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Warranty Coverage
All APB products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified in writing.
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and installation conditions.
If a product is found to be defective during the warranty period, APB will, at its discretion:

Repair the defective product,

Replace it with an equivalent new or refurbished product, or

Provide a refund or store credit (if repair or replacement is not practical).
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Products that have been installed incorrectly, modified, damaged, or used improperly.

Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, corrosion, environmental exposure, or normal wear and tear.

Products that have been fitted, loaded, strapped, bolted, or welded to a vehicle or trailer incorrectly.

Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or alterations.

Any cosmetic deterioration (fading, scratches, or paint chips) that does not affect product performance.

Freight, labour, or installation costs associated with replacement or repair.
4. Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim:

Provide your proof of purchase, description of the issue, and clear photos or videos of the defect.

APB will assess the claim and may request further evidence or product inspection.

If approved, APB will advise whether the product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
Return freight (if required) will be at the customer’s cost unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All warranty claims must be authorised by APB prior to returning any goods.
5. Warranty Transferability
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing by APB.
6. Exclusions for Custom or Modified Products
Custom-built or modified products are manufactured to customer specifications and may not be eligible for standard warranty coverage.
Any warranty for these items will be determined at APB’s discretion and confirmed at the time of purchase.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, APB’s liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the product under this warranty.
APB is not responsible for:

Loss of use, downtime, or inconvenience.

Vehicle damage or loss resulting from product failure.

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
