When the sun rises over the rugged terrain of New South Wales, it’s the perfect backdrop for a day of adventure. We teamed up with Lachie and the crew from Pig Chasing Australia and heading out to shoot some of our new products. The company, founded by Lachie, is renowned for its high-quality hunting apparel, advice, and content tailored for hunting enthusiasts across the nation. Pig Chasing Australia has a huge reputation in the hunting community, and their expertise was invaluable in the development of some of our products. On this particular day, we put our 1700mm Full Dog Box Canopy Prototype to the test.
On the day we had two vehicles: the APB Cruiser equipped with the LC79 800mm Full Dog Box mounted on the back and the PCA Cruiser featuring the new LC79 1700mm Full Dog Box Canopy prototype. Each vehicle represented top-notch functionality and security for hunting trips and dog transport.
Our Australian Performance Boxes (APB) LC79 Series 800mm Full Dog Boxes are crafted with durability and security in mind, making them the ideal companion for hunters traveling with their dogs. Designed to fit the higher headboard of a Toyota Landcruiser, these dog boxes are built from high-grade aluminum. This choice of material ensures they remain lightweight yet incredibly robust, capable of withstanding the harshest conditions that the Australian wilderness can throw at them.
What truly sets the LC79 Series apart is its attention to detail and security features. Alongside our APB Cruiser, Lachie rolled out his 79 Series Landcruiser fitted with our prototype LC79 1700mm Full Dog Box Canopy. Still in the testing phase, this product had been put through the wringer by Lachie and his team to gauge its performance and identify areas for improvement. This hands-on feedback is vital for us, ensuring that by the time the product hits the market, it’s been tested and refined by experts in the field.
The 1700mm Full Dog Box Canopy combines practicality with security. It boasts a feature that every dog owner will appreciate: easy access. The flush dog box floor was a particular highlight, making the cleaning process notably straightforward. After a long day, washing out the dog box was a hassle-free task, something every user will value.
Another standout feature was, again, the fully recessed doors. These doors ensure that dogs and gear remain safe and dry, even when traversing muddy paths or caught in unexpected rain showers. As we drove through the rugged trails. The APB Cruiser’s LC79 800mm Full Dog Box easily withstood the jostling and bouncing over uneven paths, the dogs inside unfazed by the journey.
