Saving True Blues: Committed to Empowering Australians to Prioritise Their Mental Health One Camp at a Time
In today’s fast-paced and often demanding world, conversations around mental health are more important than ever. Across Australia, individuals, families, and communities are increasingly recognising the need to prioritise wellbeing, not just in times of crisis, but as an ongoing commitment. This is where Saving True Blues is making a powerful and lasting impact.
More than just a brand, Saving True Blues is a grassroots movement dedicated to empowering Australians to take control of their mental health, seek support when needed, and foster stronger, more connected communities. Founded by Lucinda Harvey, the organisation has grown into a nationally recognised initiative that combines awareness, action, and authentic connection, one camp at a time.

A Movement Built on Connection and Purpose
At its core, Saving True Blues is about people. It’s about creating safe, welcoming environments where conversations can happen naturally, without judgement or stigma. Through camping trips, 4x4 adventures, and community-driven events, the movement encourages Australians to step away from the pressures of everyday life and reconnect with nature, with others, and with themselves.
This approach is both simple and powerful. By bringing people together in relaxed, outdoor settings, barriers begin to fall. Conversations that might feel difficult in other environments become easier around a campfire or during a shared experience on the tracks. These moments of connection are where real change begins.
Saving True Blues understands that mental health support doesn’t always have to start in a clinical setting. Sometimes, it starts with a conversation, a shared laugh, or simply knowing you’re not alone.
Turning Awareness Into Action
What sets Saving True Blues apart is its commitment to action. Awareness is only the first step, true impact comes from creating opportunities for people to engage, learn, and support one another.
Over the years, the organisation has hosted 14 successful 4x4 and camping weekends, each designed to raise awareness while fostering a genuine sense of community.
Empowering Women in the 4x4 Community
Another standout aspect of Saving True Blues is its dedication to inclusivity, particularly in supporting women within the 4x4 and outdoor community. Through women-only events, the organisation is helping to build confidence, skills, and connections in a traditionally male-dominated space.
These events cover practical topics such as vehicle maintenance and servicing, while also creating a supportive environment for women to share experiences and build lasting friendships. It’s an initiative that not only empowers individuals but strengthens the broader community as well.

Our Partnership and Shared Values
As a company, we are incredibly proud to be a partner with Saving True Blues and support the important work they do. Over the past few years, our collaboration has grown stronger, driven by a shared commitment to community.
In 2025, we had the privilege of working alongside Saving True Blues at some of Australia’s most iconic events, including AgQuip, Henty Machinery Field Days, and the Deni Ute Muster.
Breaking the Stigma Around Mental Health
One of the biggest challenges in mental health is stigma. Too often, people feel hesitant to speak up, ask for help, or share their experiences. Saving True Blues is actively working to change this narrative.
By embedding mental health conversations into everyday activities like camping, 4x4 driving, and community events, the movement normalises these discussions. It sends a clear message: it’s okay to not be okay, and support is always within reach.
Looking Ahead: A Mentally Healthier Australia
The journey doesn’t stop here. With an ever-growing calendar of events and a passionate community behind it, Saving True Blues continues to expand its reach and impact.
From Newcastle to Brisbane, Molong to Melbourne, the movement is bringing people together across the country. Each event is another step towards a more compassionate and resilient Australia one where mental health is prioritised, supported, and openly discussed.
As partners, we are excited about what the future holds. We look forward to continuing our work with Saving True Blues, supporting their initiatives, and helping to amplify their message.

Join the Movement
Saving True Blues is more than an organisation, it’s a call to action. It’s an invitation for all Australians to prioritise their mental health, support one another, and build stronger communities.
Whether it’s attending an event, starting a conversation, or simply checking in on a mate, every action counts. Together, we can break down barriers, challenge stigma, and create a culture where mental health is valued as much as physical health.
As Lucinda Harvey so powerfully demonstrates through her work, change begins with connection. And through movements like Saving True Blues, that connection is growing stronger every day.
