Crafted from durable 2.5mm Aluminium Flat Plate, the XL gullwing canopies suit both heavy-duty work and long-haul setups, ideal for tradies or 4x4 owners.

Each XL gullwing canopy measures 2000mm W x 900mm H, giving you room to pack gear without cramming it in. The twin gullwing doors open high and wide for easy access from both sides — crawling or shuffling to reach tools or storage. Gas struts keep the doors steady, while compression locks keep dust and rain out when the job gets rough.

APB does not provide installation services, but we do sell a Canopy & Dog Box Installation Kit with everything you need to mount your canopy securely. The process is straightforward: bolt-on fitment using solid mounting hardware.

How is the XL Series different from the standard AP Boxes canopy range?

The XL Series is built bigger (2000mm wide and 900mm tall) to suit American trucks and larger utes that the standard canopy range does not fit. Everything else you would expect from AP Boxes is the same: 2.5mm aluminium flat plate, stainless steel compression locks, twin gas struts, and full weather seals. If your tray is wider and taller than a standard Australian dual-cab ute, the XL Series is what you need.

What accessories do I need to buy separately?

The canopy does not include the mounting kit. You will need the Canopy and Dog Box Installation Kit, sold separately, which has everything required for bolt-on fitment to your tray. Beyond that, the canopy is ready to use. If you want to add storage inside (drawers, fridge slides, pantry slides), we have a full accessories range you can browse separately.
