Lockable Jerry Can Holder
Australian Performance Boxes' Lockable Jerry Holder is the perfect 4x4 accessory for anyone who needs to transport a water or fuel Jerry Can with security in mind. The holder has been designed and manufactured from 3.0mm thick aluminium flat plate, making it incredibly durable and capable of withstanding the toughest terrains and conditions.
To ensure a secure enclosure around the Jerry Can we have also paired it with twin stainless steel over centre latches for the convenience of being able to securely padlock your Jerry Can and reducing the risk of theft.

How to Install Your Australian Performance Boxes Jerry and/or Gas Bottle Holder
Our Australian Performance Boxes Jerry and Gas Bottle Holders offer a practical and secure solution for transporting fuel or gas bottles on your vehicle.
Please Note: Australian Performance Boxes does not offer an installation service or the M10 mounting bolts and nuts to fit the Jerry Can Holder and/or Gas Bottle Holder and will need to be purchased separately. This kit is designed for DIY installation. Please read the instructions carefully, or consult a professional if you’re unsure.
Please Note:
- These are a bolt-on attachment and do not come predrilled or with a mounting kit. We recommend using 4 x M10 bolts with a washer.
- Our Jerry Can Holders and Gas Bottle Holders can be fitted to a rear caravan bar if required; however, please note we do not supply U-bolts or mounting kits for rear bar applications.
- Avoid mounting through the jack-off points on the jack-off canopies.
Installation Instructions
Before You Start: Ensure this product is suitable for your Jerry Can or Gas Bottle. Whether mounting in the centre or off-centre, you can apply the steps below. We always recommend mounting so that the weight of the Jerry Can or Gas Bottle is supported by the tray.
1. Position, Mark & Drill: Place your Jerry Can or Gas Bottle Holder in your desired position on the back of your vehicle (centre or off-centre). Ensure the holder is square and aligned where you want it.
Mark your drilling points through the SHS (Square Hollow Section) framework if possible on the back of the canopy and the rear of your Jerry or Gas Holder. Always fix through the rear of the holder and hard into the canopy.
Please ensure when bolting to your canopy, that you do not bolt through the jack-off canopy points.
2. Fit the Bolt Assembly: For each hole, slide a washer onto an M10 bolt and through the hole and secure with an M10 Hex Nyloc Nut and tighten firmly.
3. Final Check: Double-check all bolts and nuts. Ensure the entire assembly is tight and secure, and that the Jerry Can Holder and/or Gas Bottle Holder is firmly held in place.
