How to Install Your Australian Performance Boxes Rear Canopy Hood
Complete your canopy setup with our rear canopy hood. These hoods have been engineered to fit the profile of APB Canopies for a seamless, factory look and optimal fit.
What’s in the Kit?
- The hoods come pre-drilled at the rear for simple alignment and installation. Each Rear Canopy Hood is supplied with an included bolting kit.
Please Note: Australian Performance Boxes does not offer an installation service. This kit is designed for DIY installation. Please read the instructions carefully, or consult a professional if you’re unsure.
Before You Start: Confirm your vehicle is fitted with an APB Canopy to guarantee the best fit and finish with the rear canopy hood. Unpack your specific bolting kit and lay out the components for easy access during installation.

1. Position, Mark & Drill:
Place the rear canopy hood against the back edge of your APB Canopy. Align the pre-drilled holes on the hood and mark out the holes to be drilled in the rear of the Canopy. Ensure the hood is sitting flush and evenly along the full length of the canopy roof. Drill the holes to match the pre-drilled holes in the Rear Canopy Hood.
2. Fit the Bolt Assembly:
For each hole, slide a washer onto a bolt and secure with a Nyloc Nut and tighten firmly. Double-check that the hood is straight, even, and provides the coverage and style desired. Once satisfied with the fit, evenly tighten all bolts to secure the hood firmly in place.
3. Final Check:
Double-check all bolts and nuts. Ensure the entire assembly is tight and secure, and that the Rear Canopy Hood is firmly held in place.
