How to Install Your Australian Performance Boxes Weather Seal
1. Position the Canvas Strip:
Place the canvas strip so it folds over the bottom lip of the door, ensuring the edge sits hard up against the back edge.
The strip should wrap over the lip, with the tail of the canvas feeding through the gap between the door. Make sure it is aligned evenly along the full length and sitting flush in position.
Tip: The canvas must be firmly seated against the back edge and properly fed through the gap to ensure effective water redirection.
2. Secure with Pinch Weld:
Place the pinch weld over the canvas strip and press it down firmly to grip both the canvas and door, ensuring it is tight and secure along the full length.
Tip: Ensure both the canvas and pinch weld extend slightly past
the ends of the door to ensure the full door opening is covered.
3. Final Check:
Ensure the canvas is secure, the pinch weld is evenly clamped, and the door opens and closes smoothly without interference.
